The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival is held at the Roosevelt Center at 101 Centerway in Greenbelt, MD.

Parking near the festival is limited to disabled and emergency vehicles only.

However, a free shuttle driven by volunteers is provided from various locations around Greenbelt (see routes and schedule below). The shuttle will say O’Brien Bus Service.

The festival shuttle bus will run approximately every 45 minutes.

Two routes, each with several convenient pick-up/drop-off locations:


  • Eleanor Roosevelt High School
  • Greenbelt Elementary School
  • Green Ridge House (residents only)

During these hours:

  • Friday 6pm to 11pm
  • Saturday 10:30am to 11pm
  • Sunday noon to 11pm
  • Monday 1pm to 6pm


    • Greenbelt Elementary School
    • Springhill Lake Recreation Center Parking Lot
    • Greenbelt Metro Kiss & Ride Lot
    • Greenbelt Station Townhouses (The shuttle picks up near the traffic circle at the corner of Greenbelt Station Pkwy and Stream Bank Lane.)

During these hours:

  • Friday 6pm to 10pm
  • Saturday 3pm to 10pm
  • Sunday 3pm to 10pm
  • Monday 9am to 5pm

At the Festival, the shuttle will depart from in front of the city offices and from Roosevelt Center.

(During the parade on Monday, the shuttle bus will depart from the Festival grounds near the intersection of Crescent Road and Westway and return parade participants to Buddy Attick Park.)

Parking also available at:
Greenbelt Armory but no shuttle pickup. Armory parkers will walk 0.4 mile to the Festival.
