Our new Carnival operator for 2026 is Snyder’s Attractions from Pennsylvania. They expect to bring at least 14 quality amusement rides, a mix of adult, kiddie and family type attractions, including a mechanical bull, and they were busy over the winter cleaning, repainting and getting the rides ready. They will also provide an assortment of midway-style games.
Also new this year: electronic ticketing and wristbands for the rides, with unlimited ride options on all 4 days and during all the hours the midway is open! No more paper tickets. Advance sales are now open at https://bit.ly/GLDFtickets. Go online to buy 4-hour passes, all-day passes and shareable credits at a discount. Advance sales close at midnight on Thursday, September 3. Then pick up your wristbands from the machines at the Festival.
Whenever you decide to start riding rides, with a four-hour wristband the four-hour time period begins with the first ride. So riders can choose morning, afternoon or evening to ride, or select a full-day wristband and ride all day!
At the Festival, machines will be available for the purchase of wristbands at the regular rate, and you can also add credits to existing wristbands. The machines will accept cash and credit/debit cards for payment. Sales (at the regular price) will also be available online during the weekend, so if there is a line at the machine, you can simply buy more credits with your smartphone.
