The Moran Tripp Band
Hailing from Edgewater, MD, The Moran Tripp Band is one of the hottest up and coming rock bands in Maryland. Their sophomore album Jumpers Hole released in February of 2025 garnered over 50,000 streams to date, and Saving Country Music sung its praises calling it a “greasy and sweaty” blend of country blues and southern textures. Lead singer Ryan Moran and lead guitarist Shane Tripp weave vocals that are “suede, somehow smooth and gruff at the same time” with telecaster chops that “ferociously shred” and “sing sweetly”. The rhythm section is made up of Dru Tucker on drums and Tom Coster on bass who hold down a booming rock solid backbeat with visceral emotion and excellent song sense.
