The Greenbelt Elementary PTA runs a used book sale annually as part of the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival. There are thousands of books for sale, all donated during August by community members.
The sale is open throughout the Festival. (Please note that the Book Sale may close due to rain.)
Book Donations/Collections
If anyone would like to donate books, they will collect books at St. Hugh of Grenoble Church at 135 Crescent Rd, Greenbelt, on Saturday, August 9 and Saturday, August 23 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. They also accept board games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, and video games at the collection points.
Help is needed to collect books on Saturdays, August 9 and 23, and to work at the book sale during the weekend. Please go to the PTA Book Sale website for sign-up links and more information.
At the Festival
- Friday night pricing: Hardcover $4, Paperback $2
- Saturday/Sunday: Hardcover $2, Paperback $1
- Monday: by donation only
