* Awards will be given for Community Favorite (adult & child age groups) and photos entered under the category “Americans Who Work in America” will be eligible for the Cipriano Award. Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place will be awarded separately to adults and young photographers (12 and under) for best prints in each category.

Registration Rules

Bring a photo(s) (maximum of 2) to the Greenbelt Community Center Gym on Wednesday, Aug 27 between 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

1) Maximum of 2 prints per person accepted for judging.

2) Photo(s) must be the original art of the entrant.

3) Prints must be framed with wire attached and ready to hang on pegboard ‘J’ hooks.

4) Name and phone number on the back of each print makes it easier to identify.

5) Contestants may be residents of the City of Greenbelt or surrounding communities.

6) Photos should be picked up on Monday, Sept. 1 between 4:00pm – 5:00pm.

Please Note: Frames with OUTSIDE dimensions larger than 16×20 inches will NOT!!! be eligible for judging. If your frame says ’16 x 20’ on the package, IT’S TOO LARGE and will miss the Photo Show!

Due to space limitations, we cannot guarantee that large prints will be displayed.

Ribbons of winning prints will be displayed after 1:00pm on Saturday, August 30.

New this year: Enjoy live acoustic music in the gym during the Art & Photo Show!
Small ensembles from Greenbelt Community Orchestra will perform,
as well as the Zookulele Collective.
