2012 Larry Noël 15K Race and 3K Fun Run

Take part in renewing a tradition. We are returning the Larry Noël races to their historic (2008 and earlier) courses. Required entry fee. Register online at no additional cost by August 21st. Packet pick up for both races and late registration at Greenbelt Youth Center from 4 to 4:45pm. 15K Race starting line is on Northway at Woodland Way. 3K Fun Run starting line is at Braden Field Tennis Courts. All fees include a $5 contribution to the Girls Gotta Run Foundation, an organization that provides running shoes for young women athletes in Ethiopia.

58th Annual Greenbelt Labor Day Parade

The 58th Annual Labor Day Parade will entertain you with a variety of groups, demonstrate our community spirit and accentuate our diverse cultural backgrounds. There will be bands, fire trucks, color guard, community organizations, Circus Artist Gregory May, the Miss Greenbelt participants, and more. The Grand Marshall is Greenbelt’s Outstanding Citizen. Parade Route: Down Crescent Road from Greenhill to Centerway. Parade is marshaled by the Central Maryland Amateur Radio Club (CMARC) with assistance from Prince George’s Amateur Radio Emergency Services (PG/ARES) and the Eleanor Roosevelt High School National Honor Society.
