Every year the Greenbelt Outstanding Citizen of the Year Selection Committee chooses a
volunteer to receive the honor of Outstanding Citizen during the opening ceremonies of the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival.
Nominations for the 2011 Outstanding Citizen were accepted through August 1, 2011. Nominations were accepted for people from Greenbelt who have distinguished themselves for their outstanding volunteer service to our community.
